I, Amy, have always had a love for art since being young as it is an escape for me due to suffering with invisible illnesses. My dream is to become an inspiration to other women with illnesses to show they can do it. In school, my favourite subject was art and design of course, so continued the subject as an A Level. The third lockdown hit while I was doing my one year course of Art Foundation. During this time, I discovered epoxy resin making small keyrings and bookmarks (everyone has to start somewhere).

This then developed into the business Rise n Design, Where I create resin homeware. This is a multi award winning business including ‘Theo Paphitis’ small business Sunday award’ on Twitter and ‘Overall business winner 2022’ Female business network. As the business has Grown I decided to keep this brand but also create Art By Amy for the larger, framed artworks. I showcase pieces of my art in galleries all over England including one shop that has sold a piece of my artwork to a worldwide celebrity.
